How to create hard disk partition in windows xp / 7 / 8 / 8.1?

Many times we need to create hard disk partition in our windows due to many reasons like, for increasing size on any partition or by decreasing the size of any partition, for doing this purpose many people format their PC and install a new fresh copy of windows and create a new hard disk partition according to their needs, but by formatting your PC you will lose all of your data which is stored on your hard disk, but we are going to show you the way to create new hard disk partition without formation your PC as well as it prevent your data from loss. This method will work for all versions of windows like windows XP, windows vista, windows 7, windows 8 / 8.1, there are two ways to create partition without losing data, we will show you the both methods. Just follow the below steps to create partition in easy way. 

First method: Create hard disk partition without using any software

• First of all right click on My computer and select manage

• After that computer management window will open
• Now select “Disk Management” option which is placed in a left side tab

• In “Disk Management” you will see all of your hard disk partition details
• Now select a hard disk partition which you want to decrease and create new partition from that decreased space.
• Simply right click on hard disk partitions and select “Shrink” option

• Now it will show you the details of disk space covered by selected hard disk partition
• Simply enter the amount of disk spaces (in MB) in “Enter the amount of space to shrink” option
• Click on shrink button

• After that you saw your shrinked volume is shown in hard disk partitions as unallocated
• Select that unallocated space and select “New simple volume” option

• Click on next button
• Select the amount of disk space in MB which you want to assign to your new hard disk partition
• Click on next button

• Select the Drive name and click on next button
• Now select “Format the volume” option and click on next button and then click on “Finish”

• Now you are done with this  .
• Go to my computer here you will find your new hard disk partition

Second method: Create a hard disk partition using third party software
